A visit not to be missed with Artur Rocha, the archaeologist responsible for the excavations in the block where the Money Museum is located!
In 2010, during the rehabilitation works of the headquarters block of Banco de Portugal, in Lisbon, a remarkable discovery was made for the history of the city: a section of the wall of D. Dinis, a national monument. Since then, an Interpretation Center has been set up that allows public access to the Monument, exhibitions on the estate have been held, materials for general dissemination have been edited, scientific collaborations have been strengthened, and above all, research and the production of knowledge on the material culture of Lisbon.
In this presentation, archaeologist Artur Rocha summarizes the main scientific results and initiatives for the public dissemination of this archaeological site, from 2011 to date.
