On June 17th we opened doors and strong houses, because here the money is still at home
Have a visit with (even more) security and pleasure!
It is possible to visit safely and with confidence, for visitors and staff, strictly following the rules and recommendations below:
> Wearing a mask is mandatory across all museum areas for + 10 years old.
> Keep a minimum distance of 2 metres from other visitors and staff.
> Wash or sanitise your hands frequently, before and after touching any surface that others might also touch, such as museum interactive devices.
> Practice respiratory hygiene/cough etiquette: avoid coughing or sneezing into your hands, use your forearm or sleeve, or a tissue and clean your hands after contact with respiratory secretions.
> Due to the reduced capacity in the rooms as a preventive measure for Covid 19, queuing is expected inside and outside the museum. We recommend that you allow more time for your visit.
> Group visits of more than 10 people are discouraged. Entry and circulation will be limited to the museum and room’s capacity.
> Respect the circulation path and room capacity recommended by the museum staff.
> The use of lockers is not allowed. Avoid bringing rucksacks and bags larger than 30 x 20 x 10 cm. Entry with big volumes / objects can be refused.
> We recommend the use of electronic payments in the shop.
> Respect the orientations provided in signs across the museum or from museum staff.
> Please remain at home if you show signs of fever, cough or respiratory disease.
Additional information:
> The Money Museum has large areas, which allow no concentration of people. Museum assistants ensure that there is no concentration in the rooms beyond the allowed capacity.
> The museum increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitisation in all areas.
> For reasons of health security, some museum interactives have been disabled. Those that do not require surface contact are kept in operation.
> Avoid touching with your eyes on museum devices with a viewfinder.
> Alcohol-gel dispensers are available throughout the rooms.
> Portable seats are available at the reception, on request only, and are disinfected after use. Some seats remain in the rooms. Leave them for people with limited mobility.
> Reception desk offers museum information leaflets on request only. Prefer to read them on the museum website or with the QR codes available at the reception.
> The museum café is closed.
We are living in exceptional times. The Money Museum will make every effort to ensure that visitors' entry takes place in the simplest and fastest way, but asks for your understanding in case of additional waiting times.
You can count on museum assistants to assist with all security measures and continue to exchange views on objects and collections.
These measures are in place until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The museum was closed from March 11 to June 15 2020, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
